The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program is now accepting applications worldwide, providing grants, mentors, and technical support to doctoral students doing outstanding research relevant to NVIDIA technologies. Figure, a Silicon Valley startup, has unveiled its next-generation conversational humanoid robot, Figure 02, which uses NVIDIA Isaac Sim for synthetic data and generative AI models trained on NVIDIA accelerated computing for real-time inference. The robot was tested at BMW Group's Spartanburg, South Carolina, production line for data collection and use-case training. Figure 02 is the second version of the company's general-purpose humanoid robot, launched just 10 months after the first version.
