Uber partnered with Avride, formerly Yandex Self-Driving Group, to offer autonomous rides and takeout deliveries to customers in Austin, Dallas, and Jersey City. The agreement will expand to include ride-hailing services in Dallas in 2025. Avride operates delivery robots in South Korea and six-wheeled sidewalk robots in the US.

Hackers are actively exploiting a recently disclosed remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in Zimbra email servers, tracked as CVE-2024-45519. The vulnerability exists in Zimbra's postjournal service, which is used to parse incoming emails over SMTP. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability by sending specially crafted emails with commands to execute in the CC field. The malicious activity was first reported by HarfangLab's threat researcher Ivan Kwiatkowski and confirmed by experts at Proofpoint.
