The US Department of Justice alleges that Tenet Media, a company, was financed and guided by a state-backed Russian news network. Right-wing influencers working for Tenet Media created hundreds of videos on YouTube, which were later taken down. The videos showed interest in specific topics, including free speech, illegal immigrants, diversity in video games, and supposed racism toward white people, and Elon Musk. Prosecutors described the content as consistent with Russia's aim of sowing political discord in the US.

Apple is introducing a new feature called Distraction Control in iOS 18, which allows users to remove distracting items from a webpage in Safari.
