Scroll, Axiom, and the Ethereum Foundation's PSE team have introduced OpenVM, an open-source zkVM (zero-knowledge virtual machine) framework for quick proof generation. Scroll L2 will use OpenVM as its zkVM and aims to validate mainnet blocks in the near future.
