Samsung has validated its 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X DRAM on MediaTek's next-generation Dimensity platform, achieving over 25% improvement in power consumption and performance. The new DRAM enables longer battery life and more powerful on-device AI features for mobile devices. The verification was carried out using Samsung's 16GB LPDDR5X package on MediaTek's upcoming Dimensity 9400 SoC, scheduled for release in the second half of this year.

Samsung Electronics announced that its Tizen OS will power Loewe's latest luxury TV, stellar, set to launch on July 15 in Europe. Samsung Researcher HyoungJin Choi was named chair of the Coordination Group on IMT-2030 (6G) at the ITU-R Working Party 5D meeting in Geneva, Switzerland. The group will define the process for developing 6G technology standards and review candidate proposals. Choi previously led the 6G Vision Group from 2021 to 2023. The Coordination Group will work until 2029.
