The Senate Armed Services Committee has released its version of the National Defense Authorization Act, which omits the demand to ban new DJI drones from entering the US market. Joby Aviation, an eVTOL developer, completed a 523-mile flight in California using hydrogen-electric propulsion developed by its subsidiary H2FLY. The company has secured a US location for eVTOL production and is expanding air taxi operations worldwide, starting in Dubai.
